The Soho House Berlin

Located in a 1928 Bauhaus building in the trendy Mitte district, the Soho House Berlin opened May 10, 2010, as a private members club and 40-room hotel. With black and white tiled floors, oversized seating, exposed concrete beams, and fireplaces, the design blends 1930s Berlin glamour with an eclectic industrial style. A special highlight is the heated rooftop pool.

The Soho House Berlin joins a series of trendy, individually designed, as well as reasonably priced boutique hotels, all of which just recently opened. These include the 51-room Casa Camper designed by Fernando Amat and Jordi Tio, and the Circus Hotel, offering iPods loaded with the best of Berlin music, bikes, and a garden courtyard.Other hotels popular with urban travelers are the Hotel Amano with its stylish roof top bar, and serviced apartments, the Cosmo Hotel, an 84-room luxury design hotel, and the trendy Hotel Michelberger, featuring custom-designed furniture and a beer garden.
